Amplite™ Fluorimetric Maleimide Quantitation Kit There are few reagents or assay kits available for quantitate the number of maleimide groups that are introduced into a protein or other macromolecules. All the commercial kits have tedious protocols. Our kit uses a proprietary dye that has enhanced fluorescence upon reacting with a maleimide. The kit provides a sensitive, one-step fluorimetric method to detect as little as 10 picomoles of maleimide in a 100 µL assay volume (100 nM in concentration). Amplite™ Fluorimetric Thiol Quantitation Assay Kit Our Amplite™ Fluorimetric Thiol Qutitation Kit provides an ultrasensitive fluorimetric assay for quantitating thiols that exist either in a small molecule or on a protein. The kit uses a proprietary non-fluorescent dye that becomes strongly fluorescent upon reacting with thiol. The kit provides a sensitive, one-step fluorimetric method to detect as little as 1 picomole of cysteine or GSH in a 100 µL assay volume (10 nM in concentration). The assay is rapid and robust. It can be performed in a convenient 96-well or 384-well microtiter-plate format and easily adapted to automation with Ex/Em = 490 nm/520 nm. |
Quest Fluo-8™ Quest Fluo-8 calcium indicators and Screen Quest™ Fluo-8 Calcium Assay Kit provide a homogeneous fluorescence-based assay for detecting the intracellular calcium mobilization. Fluo-8 is the brightest green calcium indicator available for HTS screening. It has 100-250 times fluorescence increases when it forms complexes with calcium. The Screen Quest Fluo-8 NW Calcium Assay Kit provides an optimized assay method for monitoring G-protein-coupled receptors (GPCRs) and calcium channels. The assay can be performed in a convenient 96-well or 384-well microtiter-plate format and easily adapted to automation. Quest Rhod-4™ Rhod-2 is most commonly used among the red fluorescent calcium indicators. However, Rhod-2 AM is only moderately fluorescent in live cells upon esterase hydrolysis, and has very small cellular calcium responses. Quest Rhod-4™ has been developed to improve Rhod-2 cell loading and calcium response while maintaining the spectral wavelength of Rhod-2. In CHO and HEK cells Quest Rhod-4™ AM has cellular calcium response that is 10 times more sensitive than Rhod-2 AM. |
